FORS Development Center, a Platinum level member of Oracle® PartnerNetwork (OPN), today announced it has joined the Oracle Cloud Managed Service Provider (MSP) Program.

The new Oracle Cloud Managed Service Provider Program gives the Partner the ability to combine the services of the Oracle Cloud Platform with their own services to provide a complete Public Cloud Solution to their customers.

To be able to join this program, there is a stringent competency criteria that must be met. They have to have the skills and the experience to offer, manage end to end a complete Public Cloud Solution to their customers. The customer has great benefits having an experienced Cloud MSP to help to be a single point of contact allowing them to transform their operations in the Public Cloud.

FORS has met the requirements required for entering the Program, proving its competence on IaaS and PaaS Oracle cloud products.

We are deeply involved in adaptation, configuration, technological consulting and assistance in operation of the Oracle Cloud based systems,” — remarks Sergei Lanovenko, FORS Group Vice-President.

FORS will build on the experience gained from the Oracle Exadata Cloud Machine and Oracle Cloud Machine package of services already in operation at FORS to offer to customers a complete Cloud solution. They will enable customers to gain maximum advantages from the ready cloud solution. The company will also provide cloud security consulting services, development of regulations for compatibility of heterogenic frameworks during migration of the existing databases and applications to the new cloud platform.

The Oracle Cloud @ Customer subscription basis-service offered by FORS utilizing the Oracle Cloud Machine and the Oracle Exadata Machine, provides secure, in country, storage of data to customers. The equipment is installed at customer’s premises, behind customer’s firewall and services based on this can be offered on a subscription basis, turning CAPEX to OPEX for the customer.
